red panel is a composer–performer collective creating immersive, genre-defying performances at the intersection of contemporary classical, ambient, and experimental music. The group works through close collaboration and exploratory concert formats, often blurring the boundaries between concert, installation, and sound environment.

The collective is fluid in form, with rotating members depending on each project. Founding members are Cara Dawson (harp, percussion) and Eden Lonsdale (cello, composition, harmonium). Core collaborators include Kieran Timbrell (keys, percussion, objects, composition), Patrick Hegarty (guitar, electronics, percussion, objects, composition), Kevin Kay (clarinet, composition), and Forrest Moody (keyboards, composition).

red panel has released music with State51 Conspiracy, NonClassical, and Sawyer Editions, and were runners-up in NonClassical’s Battle of the Bands (2022).
